We recently reviewed the cardiac investigation results for a patient with known atrial fibrillation who had been found to have an ejection systolic murmur during a routine check-up. For this patient, who was already on apixaban for anticoagulation and amlodipine for blood pressure, the clinical picture was stable but required careful surveillance.
