What it is

Getting you moving again

Most aches and injuries get better faster with the right assessment and a clear plan, rather than rest and hope.

Physiotherapy here begins with a proper assessment to understand what is causing your pain or limiting your movement. We explain what we find, then treat it with a mix of hands on therapy and exercises you can do at home. We review your progress and adjust as you improve.

What we treat

Common problems

Back and neck pain

Assessment and treatment of back and neck pain, including posture related strain.

Joint problems

Knee, shoulder, hip and other joint pain, from wear and tear to specific injuries.

Sports injuries

Strains, sprains and overuse injuries, with a plan to recover and prevent a recurrence.

After surgery

Rehabilitation after an operation, to rebuild strength and movement safely.

Posture and overuse

Desk related and repetitive strain problems, with practical changes that help.

Frequently asked questions

What can physiotherapy help with?

Musculoskeletal problems such as back and neck pain, joint pain, sports injuries, and recovery after surgery or injury. The aim is to reduce pain, restore movement, and get you back to what you want to do.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed. In clinic physiotherapy is expected to resume from 24 August 2026. In the meantime you can book an online GP consultation for advice on pain, injuries and exercise, or join the waiting list.

How much does it cost?

An initial assessment and treatment is £90 to £110, depending on its length. A follow up session is £70.

What happens at the first appointment?

A thorough assessment to understand the problem, a clear explanation of what is going on, and the start of treatment, usually with hands on therapy and exercises to do at home.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the problem. We are honest about that from the start, review your progress as we go, and never string out treatment unnecessarily.
