What it is
A good report does one thing well. It sets out the facts of your health clearly, fairly and in plain English, so that the person reading it understands your situation.
We take the time to understand your history, read the evidence you provide, and write a structured report that says what needs saying and no more. It is honest and specific. We do not overstate, because accuracy is what gives a report weight with decision makers, tribunals and the courts.
Every report and letter follows a proper medical assessment, and is provided where clinically appropriate. Assessments take place at our Palmers Green clinic, or at a home visit where attending the clinic is difficult, with reports and letters delivered securely by email. Clinique Alpa is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The main reports we write
Pick the purpose, not the product name. Each category shows what it costs and links to the detail: what is assessed, what the fee includes and what happens next. If a short letter will do, you do not need a report, and we will say so.
Independent evidence for a new PIP claim, a mandatory reconsideration or a tribunal appeal. Two fixed prices, both confirmed in writing before any work begins.

The everyday documents: fitness to work or fitness to return, travel and travel medication, holiday cancellation, and university or housing support. If a letter will do, you do not need a report.
Fixed prices £250 to £500
Assessed reports where a third party needs more than a letter: a council, a housing officer, an employer, a university or the Blue Badge scheme.
Fixed prices £250 to £750
Reports and supporting letters for asylum and human rights cases, unable-to-attend and biometrics letters, and the Home Office language and life waiver.

Condition and prognosis evidence for a personal injury claim. Charged for the time the case actually needs, not as a package, so complexity changes the estimate rather than the rate.

Civil, criminal and clinical negligence instructions from solicitors and counsel, under CPR Part 35 and CrimPR Part 19. Non-personal-injury instructions only.

Assessment and documentation of alleged torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment. A distinct pathway, scoped against the instruction and the volume of records, not a routine escalation of an injury claim.

Fees
Every report and letter needs a medical assessment. Most are a fixed price. Personal injury work is charged by the hour with a written estimate, and a few instructions are individually scoped and quoted.

A GMC registered GP. Dr Mitesh Parmar, GMC 6113670, writes the benefits and medico legal reports. He is a MedCo registered medical expert, reference DME9158, and has a parallel medico legal practice.
Most reports have a fixed price. A PIP functional and medical assessment and report is £550, and a PIP mandatory reconsideration and tribunal report is £900. Supporting reports for housing, disability, work and education are £250 to £750. Personal injury medico-legal work is £250 per hour, with a written estimate agreed before work begins. After the assessment, and once any supporting evidence is to hand, a report is usually ready within a few working days. If you have a deadline, such as a tribunal or a Home Office date, tell us and we will prioritise it.
