What it is
Medical evidence that supports your case.
Immigration and asylum decisions often turn on medical evidence: the nature of a condition, whether treatment is realistically available, the effect of removal on health, or the documentation of injuries.
I assess the person, read the evidence, and write a structured, objective report suitable for the Home Office or an immigration tribunal. I work with instructing solicitors and with individuals directly, and I stay independent and impartial throughout.
How the assessment works
In person, in Palmers Green.
Assessments take place at our Palmers Green clinic in North London, with reports delivered electronically.
Where a physical examination is essential, for example to document scarring, it is carried out during your appointment, and a home visit examination can also be arranged. Every case begins with a medical assessment, and reports and letters are provided where clinically appropriate after assessment.

MBBS, MRCGP. 21 years in medicine, with a special interest in psychological medicine and a parallel medico-legal practice. Reports are written in plain, ordered English, structured for the Home Office and the tribunal, with a prompt turnaround.

Some services have a fixed price. Personal injury medico-legal work is charged at an hourly rate, and some expert work is individually scoped. Where a price is not fixed, a written estimate is agreed before work begins. Records beyond the stated allowance, addenda and further questions are charged at the professional time rate, and only with prior agreement. The Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK waiver is priced as form completion or, where a narrative report is genuinely required, as a full report. How much does an immigration medical letter cost?
Every figure is a fixed package. A short immigration medical letter is £550, a standard immigration medical report is £1,000, a comprehensive immigration medico-legal report is £1,250, and a complex asylum or immigration expert report is £1,500. Legal aid work is undertaken at the authorised rate only, with prior authority.
