Immigration medical reports · Home Office and tribunal

Immigration medical reports and supporting letters.

I prepare independent medical reports for immigration and asylum cases, for instructing solicitors and for individuals. The report gives the Home Office or the tribunal a clear, accurate clinical picture: a medical condition and its treatment, the effect of removal on health, or the documentation of scarring and injuries.

What it is

Medical evidence that supports your case.

Immigration and asylum decisions often turn on medical evidence: the nature of a condition, whether treatment is realistically available, the effect of removal on health, or the documentation of injuries.

I assess the person, read the evidence, and write a structured, objective report suitable for the Home Office or an immigration tribunal. I work with instructing solicitors and with individuals directly, and I stay independent and impartial throughout.

How the assessment works

By secure video, or in person.

Many assessments are done by secure video, with reports delivered electronically — which helps people anywhere in the UK. Online assessments are available now, and face-to-face appointments at our Palmers Green clinic are available from Wednesday 12 August 2026.

Where a physical examination is essential, for example to document scarring, I will say so, and an in-clinic or home visit examination can be arranged. Every case begins with a medical assessment, and reports and letters are provided where clinically appropriate after assessment.

Reports I prepare

Types of immigration medical report.

Every report starts with an assessment of the person and the evidence. I write only what the clinical picture supports.

Medical condition and treatment

Reports describing a condition, the treatment it needs, and what that means for the case, including whether treatment is realistically available.

02

Article 3 and 8 ECHR grounds

Medical evidence on health grounds relevant to removal and to private and family life.

03

Scarring and injury documentation

Careful documentation of scarring or injuries in support of asylum and human rights claims.

04

Fitness and wellbeing

Assessment of physical or mental health relevant to detention, removal or proceedings.

05

Language and Life in the UK waiver

Supporting letters for exemption from the Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK requirement on health grounds.

06

Records review

An independent review and summary of medical records to inform a case or a further opinion.
