What it is

Catching problems early, calmly

A good health screen is not a tick box exercise. It is a considered look at the things most likely to matter for you, with time to discuss what we find.

We start with a full history and examination, then take a blood profile chosen for your age and your own risks. When the results are back, a doctor goes through them with you and, where it helps, sets out a clear and practical plan.

What we look at

A picture of your health

Heart and circulation

Blood pressure, cholesterol and an assessment of your cardiovascular risk.

Diabetes and metabolism

Blood glucose and longer term sugar control, with advice where the numbers suggest it.

Kidney, liver and thyroid

Blood profiles that check how these organs are working and flag anything that needs a closer look.

Vitamins and general health

A full blood count and key vitamins, to explain tiredness and other everyday symptoms.

Bone health

For older patients, attention to the risks around bone strength and falls.

Memory and wellbeing

For older patients, a careful conversation about memory, mood and how you are managing.

How it works

1

Choose your screen

Choose a Well Person or Senior profile, or ask us to build a bespoke one. In person screening is expected to resume from 24 August 2026.

2

Assessment and bloods

About 90 minutes for your history, examination and blood tests, taken on site.

3

Results processed

Most results are back quickly. Your samples go to an accredited laboratory.

4

Review and plan

A doctor talks you through everything and agrees a clear plan with you.

Built around you

If you want to look at something specific, we can. A screen can be extended with individual blood tests, and where a symptom needs it we arrange further investigations such as an ECG or a scan.

Frequently asked questions

What does a health screen include?

A full history and examination, a blood profile tailored to your age and risk, and a doctor to talk you through the results. We look at heart and circulation, diabetes and cholesterol, and kidney, liver and thyroid function, with extra attention to bone health and memory for older patients.

How long does it take?

The assessment and blood tests take about 90 minutes. Once your results are back we arrange a separate review to go through them properly and agree a plan.

How much is a health screen?

A Well Person profile is £175 and a Senior profile is £465. Taking blood is £20. We can also build a bespoke profile and quote it before you book.

Will my results be explained?

Yes. A doctor talks you through what each result means for you, in plain terms, and where anything needs action we agree what to do next.

Do I need to fast beforehand?

Some tests, such as cholesterol and glucose, are best taken fasting. We tell you exactly how to prepare when you book.
