What it is
A calm place to bring a poorly child.
Children are not small adults, and a worried parent needs time as much as the child does. We give you both that time.
This is GP led care, provided by Dr Mitesh Parmar. He has cared for children for more than 20 years, in baby units, children’s wards and paediatric emergency departments, as well as in general practice. The pace is gentle, we explain everything plainly, and where a child needs a hospital specialist, we refer without delay.
How your child is seen
In person, in Palmers Green.
Children are seen face to face at our Palmers Green clinic, always with a parent or guardian present throughout — this protects your child and is part of our approach to safeguarding. Where it is easier for your family, home visits are also available.
If the clinic is not the right place for your child’s problem, we will say so and direct you to the right service.

Rashes and skin
A careful look at rashes, eczema and other skin complaints, with a plan you can follow.
Tummy and feeding
Tummy upsets, constipation, and questions about feeding, weaning and growth.
Ear, nose and throat
Earache, sore throats and the recurring infections that disrupt school and sleep.
Minor injuries
Assessment of minor knocks, cuts and sprains, with clear guidance on when a child needs to be seen urgently.

Sometimes the most useful thing is a calm, expert opinion that all is well.

Honest limits
Alongside your NHS care.
Private care for your child sits alongside the NHS, not instead of it. It does not replace your child’s NHS GP. With your consent we share a short summary with your child’s NHS GP so records stay joined up. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Is this a paediatrician service?
No. This is GP led care for children, provided by Dr Mitesh Parmar, an experienced GP, GMC 6113670. He has looked after children for more than 20 years, including in baby units, children’s wards and paediatric emergency departments, as well as in general practice. Where a child needs a hospital specialist, we refer promptly.
What can you help with?
Everyday childhood illness such as coughs, sore throats, fevers, ear infections, rashes and tummy upsets, along with feeding, growth and sleep concerns, minor injuries, and the reassurance that often matters most.
How much is an appointment?
A GP consultation and examination in clinic is £100 for 30 minutes, and a follow up consultation within 14 days is £90. Full pricing is on our appointments and fees page.
Does a parent need to be present?
Yes. A parent or guardian must be present throughout every consultation. If the GP feels your child needs a different service, we will say so and direct you to the right one.
What if my child is seriously unwell?
