Clinique Alpa is currently operating as a virtual-first private GP consultation service during our sabbatical period. In-person services are expected to resume from 24 August 2026. If you need GP advice now, you can book a £65 private online GP consultation. If you require examination, urgent care, investigations, procedures or hospital assessment, our GP will safety-net and direct you to the appropriate service.
A calm place to bring a poorly child
Children are not small adults, and a worried parent needs time as much as the child does. We give you both that time.
This is GP led care, provided by Dr Mitesh Parmar. He has cared for children for more than 20 years, in baby units, children’s wards and paediatric emergency departments, as well as in general practice. During our sabbatical, children are seen by secure video where that is clinically suitable, always with a parent or guardian present. The pace is gentle and we explain everything plainly. Anything that depends on an examination is expected to resume in person from 24 August 2026. Where a child needs a hospital specialist, we refer without delay.

How it works
Book a time
Choose a secure video appointment. Same day slots are often available, subject to availability. In person appointments are expected to resume from 24 August 2026.

We explain what is going on and agree what to do, in plain language.

Any prescription or note follows promptly, and we review your child if needed.
Alongside your NHS care
Private care for your child sits alongside the NHS, not instead of it. It does not replace your child’s NHS GP. With your consent we share a short summary with your child’s NHS GP.
During our sabbatical, children are seen by secure video where that is clinically suitable, always with a parent or guardian present. Anything that needs a hands on examination, along with home visits, is expected to resume from 24 August 2026. If a video appointment is not the right place for your child’s problem, we will say so and direct you to the right service.
Trust your instincts. If your child is very unwell, struggling to breathe, unusually drowsy or hard to wake, has a rash that does not fade when pressed, is a baby under three months old with a fever, has a fit or seizure, or you are seriously worried, call 999 or go to your nearest emergency department now. For urgent advice that cannot wait, call NHS 111.

Is this a paediatrician service?
No. This is GP led care for children, provided by Dr Mitesh Parmar, an experienced GP, GMC 6113670. He has looked after children for more than 20 years, including in baby units, children’s wards and paediatric emergency departments, as well as in general practice. Where a child needs a hospital specialist, we refer promptly.
What can you help with?
Everyday childhood illness such as coughs, sore throats, fevers, ear infections, rashes and tummy upsets, along with feeding, growth and sleep concerns, minor injuries, and the reassurance that often matters most.
How much is an appointment?
An online consultation by secure video is £65 for 15 minutes or £79.99 for 30 minutes. In person fees, £100 for a consultation with follow ups at £60 or £80, apply when in person appointments resume from 24 August 2026.
Can you prescribe for my child?
Where it is clinically appropriate and safe, yes. We explain the plan clearly and, with your consent, send a summary to your child’s NHS GP.
What if my child is seriously unwell?
Trust your instincts. If your child is very unwell, struggling to breathe, unresponsive, or has a rash that does not fade under pressure, call 999 or go to your nearest emergency department now.
