Online private GP consultation
See a GP by secure video or telephone, from home, work, or anywhere in the UK. The appointment is unhurried, with time to talk things through properly. Where it is clinically appropriate, we can issue a private prescription, a sick note, or a referral.

Private GP care, wherever you are
A virtual consultation gives you proper time with a GP without travelling to a clinic. It suits busy people, parents, anyone working from home, and anyone who would simply rather be seen somewhere private and comfortable.
The appointment is a proper clinical consultation, not a rushed call. We take a careful history, talk through your concerns, and agree a clear plan with you. That might be a prescription, a referral, a fit note, further tests, or simply reassurance. With your consent, we send a short summary to your NHS GP so your records stay joined up.

When an online appointment is not the right choice
We will tell you plainly if your problem needs to be seen in person. Some things need a hands on examination, and a few medicines cannot be prescribed remotely. Where that is the case, we will say so and arrange an appointment in clinic or a home visit instead.
- If you have a medical emergency, such as severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke, or heavy bleeding, call 999 now.
- Some examinations and certain medicines need an in person appointment.
- An online consultation is private healthcare. It does not replace your registered NHS GP.
