We recently saw a mother with a three month old baby who was concerned about skin changes on the scalp and neck, and the baby had not had a bowel movement for nine days. On examination, the baby had cradle cap affecting the scalp, with intertrigo in the neck folds and a firm abdomen consistent with constipation.
