Saturday · Palmers Green
Closed on Saturdays, but worth asking.
The clinic is normally closed on Saturday. When a doctor is available, we can sometimes arrange an appointment in person at 466 Green Lanes — 15 minutes for £79.99, or 30 minutes for £150. A doctor can also sometimes come to you at home, on Saturday or Sunday between 9am and 7pm, at £325 an hour. It is all by request, and none of it is something we can promise in advance — ask us, and we will give you a straight answer.

How a Saturday works
Ask, and we will check.
Saturday is not a clinic day, and a weekend home visit is never a fixed slot, so for these there is no diary to browse. Sunday clinic appointments can be booked as normal. There is a question, an honest check, and an answer.
Ask
Message us on WhatsApp, or call the clinic, and say you are asking about Saturday, or about a home visit. Tell us the day you have in mind, briefly what you need seen, and whether you would rather come to the clinic or be seen at home. If you need help now, do not wait for a reply — call 999 for an emergency, or NHS 111 for urgent advice.
We check
We check whether a doctor is available on the day you have asked about — Saturday, or Sunday if you have asked for a home visit. This is a real check rather than a formality, and the answer is sometimes no.
We confirm
If a doctor is free, we confirm the time, the place and the fee with you before anything is arranged. If nobody is available, we will say so plainly, and we will look at other times with you — a weekday or Sunday appointment in clinic, or a home visit on another day.
Fees
What it costs.
There are three ways a Saturday can work, and each has its own fee. In clinic at 466 Green Lanes, 15 minutes is £79.99 and 30 minutes, face to face, is £150. A home visit, on Saturday or on Sunday between 9am and 7pm, is £325 an hour.
Saturday is the only day priced differently. Monday to Friday and on Sunday, a 30-minute in-clinic consultation and examination is £100, and a follow-up appointment within 14 days is £90. Monday to Friday, home visits are charged at the weekday rates. Whichever you ask for, the fee is confirmed with you when the appointment is arranged, so you know it in advance.
| Service | Fee |

| Saturday appointment, 15 minutes, in clinic, face to face | £79.99 |

| In-clinic consultation and examination, 30 minutes, Monday to Friday or Sunday | £100 |

Saturday appointments and weekend home visits are by request, and only when a doctor is available. Our full fee list is on the appointments and fees page, and weekday home visits are described on our home visiting GP page. Clinique Alpa is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and our doctors are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). This is private healthcare and it does not replace your NHS GP.
Being straight about it
Which one to ask for.
What each one is good for
Fifteen minutes, at £79.99, is usually enough for one clearly defined question: a single problem you can describe in a sentence, a short review of something a doctor has already seen you about, or a question you would rather ask a doctor in person than read about.
Thirty minutes, at £150, is the one to ask for when there is more than one thing, or when you are honestly not sure how long it will take. Both are in person, in the room at 466 Green Lanes.
If travelling to us is the difficulty rather than the time, a home visit on Saturday or Sunday, between 9am and 7pm, is £325 an hour. Bring, or have to hand, a note of anything you take regularly and any recent results or letters.
When to ask for something else
- If it is an emergency, do not wait for us — call 999 now.
- If it is urgent but not life-threatening, call NHS 111 for advice at any hour.
- If your problem needs more than fifteen minutes, several things at once, or a first look at something complicated, ask for the 30-minute appointment instead. On a Saturday that is £150, in clinic, face to face.
- If you cannot travel to the clinic, ask about a home visit instead. A doctor can sometimes come to you on Saturday or Sunday, between 9am and 7pm, at £325 an hour, if one is available.
- If the day itself is not the difficulty, the clinic is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm, and on Sunday, 9:30am to 5:30pm, and a 30-minute consultation and examination is £100.
Before you ask
The weekend, answered.
Are you open on Saturdays?
Normally, no. The clinic is closed on Saturday, and there are no Saturday times to browse or book. A Saturday appointment in clinic is by appointment only, and only when a doctor is available. A home visit can also be arranged on Saturday or Sunday, between 9am and 7pm. Please treat Saturday as a request rather than a booking.
How do I ask about a Saturday appointment or a home visit?
Message us on WhatsApp on 07742 163551, or call the clinic on 020 8882 8088. Tell us the day you are asking about, briefly what you need seen, and whether you would like to be seen in clinic or at home. We will then check whether a doctor is available. Please do not send confidential medical information by WhatsApp.
Can you guarantee me a Saturday appointment?
No, and we would rather say so here than let you find out later. A Saturday appointment depends entirely on whether a doctor is available that day, and the same is true of a Saturday or Sunday home visit. If nobody is available, we will tell you, and we will look at other times with you — a weekday or Sunday appointment in clinic, or a home visit on another day.
Where does the appointment take place?
Either in clinic or at home. Tell us which you would prefer and we will check whether a doctor is available for it. In clinic means in person at 466 Green Lanes, Palmers Green, London N13 5PA, seen by a doctor in the room. A home visit means a doctor comes to you, on Saturday or Sunday between 9am and 7pm.
What does a Saturday appointment or a weekend home visit cost?
On a Saturday, in clinic at 466 Green Lanes, 15 minutes is £79.99 and 30 minutes face to face is £150. A home visit, on Saturday or on Sunday between 9am and 7pm, is £325 an hour. Saturday is the only day priced differently: Monday to Friday and on Sunday, a 30-minute in-clinic consultation and examination is £100, and a follow-up appointment within 14 days is £90. The fee is confirmed with you before anything is arranged.
What if fifteen minutes is not enough for what I need?
Then ask for the 30-minute appointment instead. On a Saturday that is £150, in clinic and face to face, and it gives the doctor more time than fifteen minutes allows. Monday to Friday and on Sunday the same 30 minutes is £100 — the clinic is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm, and on Sunday, 9:30am to 5:30pm.
What should I do if I cannot wait until Saturday?
If it is an emergency, call 999 now. If it is urgent but not life-threatening, NHS 111 can direct you at any hour. Otherwise call the clinic — the telephone line is open 24 hours a day for enquiries and appointment requests — and we will look at the options with you, whether that is a home visit or an appointment in clinic.
Can a doctor come to me at the weekend?
Sometimes, yes. A home visit can be arranged on Saturday or on Sunday, between 9am and 7pm, and the fee is £325 an hour. Like a Saturday appointment in clinic, it is by request and only when a doctor is available. Monday to Friday, home visits are charged at the weekday rates on our appointments and fees page.
Do I need to be registered with the clinic to ask?
No. You do not need to be registered with us to ask. This is private healthcare and it does not replace your NHS GP. With your consent we send a short summary to your NHS GP so your records stay joined up.
