The clinic is closed on Saturday. A doctor can still come to you: a 60 minute home visit on a Saturday, a Sunday or a bank holiday is £325 when it starts before 20:00. It is by request, and only when a doctor is available, so it is not something we can promise in advance. Ask us, and we will give you a straight answer. On Sunday the clinic is open as usual.

How a Saturday works

Saturday is not a clinic day, and a weekend home visit is never a fixed slot, so for these there is no diary to browse. Sunday clinic appointments can be booked as normal. There is a question, an honest check, and an answer.

We check
We check whether a doctor is free to visit on the day you have asked about. This is a real check rather than a formality, and the answer is sometimes no.
We confirm
If a doctor is free, we confirm the time, the place and the fee with you before anything is arranged. If nobody is available, we will say so plainly, and we will look at other times with you: a weekday or Sunday appointment in clinic, or a home visit on another day.

What it costs.
The clinic is closed on Saturday, so on a Saturday the answer is a home visit. A 60 minute visit on a Saturday, a Sunday or a bank holiday is £325 when it starts before 20:00, and £450 when it starts between 20:00 and 23:00. Travel is measured one way from the clinic: the first 20 minutes are included and each further 20-minute band is £50, charged once.
In clinic, Monday to Friday and on Sunday, a 30-minute consultation and examination is £100, and a follow-up appointment within 14 days is £90. Monday to Friday, home visits are charged at the weekday rate. Whichever you ask for, the fee is confirmed with you when the appointment is arranged, so you know it in advance.

Which one to ask for.
What each one is good for
A weekend home visit, at £325 for 60 minutes, is the option when the day itself is the difficulty: it is a Saturday, the clinic is closed, and the problem should not wait until Monday. It is a full hour with a doctor in your own home.
A Sunday appointment in clinic, at £100 for 30 minutes, is the cheaper option when you can travel to 466 Green Lanes. The clinic is open on Sunday from 9:30am to 5:30pm at the standard fee.
Either way, have to hand a note of anything you take regularly and any recent results or letters. If it can wait until Monday, a weekday appointment in clinic is the calmest option of the three.

No, and we would rather say so here than let you find out later. A Saturday or Sunday home visit depends entirely on whether a doctor is available that day. If nobody is available, we will tell you, and we will look at other times with you: a weekday or Sunday appointment in clinic, or a home visit on another day.
Where does the appointment take place?

What if I need longer than an hour?
Say so when you ask, and we will arrange an extended visit. An extended weekday daytime visit of up to 120 minutes is £480, and an extended evening visit is £750. The fee is agreed with you before the visit, never afterwards.
What should I do if I cannot wait until Monday?
If it is an emergency, call 999 now. If it is urgent but not life-threatening, NHS 111 can direct you at any hour. Otherwise call the clinic: the telephone line is open 24 hours a day for enquiries and appointment requests, and we will look at the options with you.
